Overview of Distracted Driving Scholarship Requirements

Congratulations on your upcoming high school graduation! This is an exciting time. With all the life changes you’re about to experience, we know it can be stressful to think about financing your education. For this reason, Crosley Law Firm is proud to offer a $1,000 scholarship to one San Antonio area high school senior each year.

Crosley Law Firm strongly advocates against distracted driving, which causes 274 car crashes per day here in Texas. Nationwide, distracted driving motor vehicle accidents kill 8 people and injure 1,161 people every single day, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The fight against distracted driving is the primary focus of this scholarship. Below are the basic requirements:

  • Eligibility Requirement: 3.0 or higher GPA
    Required Application Materials: 
  • Confirmation of college enrollment
  • 750– to 2,000-word essay about how distracted driving has impacted your life
  • High school transcripts required after scholarship has been awarded
  • Application Deadline: June 30th, 2017 at 11:59 p.m.
