Over the years, personal injury litigation has become more and more complex. It requires working closely with expert witnesses, developing complicated legal theories, conducting detailed and careful investigations, using cutting-edge technology, and much more.

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing outstanding service to our clients, the Crosley Law team sent nearly all of our attorneys to the American Association for Justice (AAJ) Convention this year. At this convention, injury lawyers from across the country come together to share their knowledge and learn more about trial law from each other and from leading experts.

Why Did Crosley Law Go to the AAJ Conference?

The American Association for Justice stands up for injury victims across the country. Their work helps individuals and families just like our clients. Founded in 1946, AAJ is a national organization for trial lawyers. Its mission is to promote a fair and effective justice system while advocating for injury victims. Its activities focus on:

  • Promoting accountability and safety to protect people from corporations that don’t pay fair insurance claims, create dangerous products, pollute the environment, and put all of us at risk.
  • Advocating for civil justice to ensure that every American has equal access to the justice system.
  • Enhancing the practice of law by connecting and educating lawyers and helping them better serve their clients.
  • Improving communities by raising and donating money to charitable organizations, offering free legal services to those in need, and participating in other volunteering and outreach projects across the United States.

In short, AAJ tirelessly fights against some of the most powerful industries and corporate interests in the U.S.

Tom Crosley Is Named Co-Chair of the AAJ’s Trampoline Injury Practice Group

At Crosley Law, we’ve built a national reputation for excellence in trampoline injury claims. We made national headlines for successfully litigating a 16-year old boy’s suit against a Houston trampoline park that resulted in a nearly $11.5 million jury verdict that included punitive damages.

As the number of trampoline injuries grows nationwide, AAJ felt a need to create a forum where injury lawyers could share insights, strategies, and other information. This year, it announced a new Trampoline Litigation Group to fulfill this need. And we’re proud to announce that Tom Crosley was named its co-chair.

Tom explained his goal for the group:

As one of the Trampoline Litigation Group’s first co-chairs, my focus is on improving the outcomes for trampoline victims nationwide. Using our collective experiences, we’ll be able to identify best practices, track trends in these claims, and share information that will make us all better lawyers.
