Meet the Team

  • Thomas A. Crosley Managing Partner

    An accomplished lawyer, Mr. Crosley is board certified in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and he is certified as a civil trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. In 2001, he was appointed by the Bexar County Commissioners Court to the Advisory Board for the Bexar County Dispute Resolution Center. He also served as the president of the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association in 2002.

  • Shawn Mechler Attorney

    Mr. Mechler is licensed to practice in the State of Texas and is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Western Districts of Texas.  He is a member of the San Antonio Bar Association, San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, American Inns of Court, and Federal Bar Association.  He has been recognized as a Rising Legal Star in San Antonio Scene Magazine.

  • Jarryd S. Morton Attorney

    Jarryd S. Morton received his bachelor’s degree from Wabash College in 2010 and earned his law degree from Valparaiso University Law School in 2016, where he graduated magna cum laude and was a member of the Honor’s Program.

    Mr. Morton is admitted to the State Bar of Texas. He is a member of the San Antonio Bar Association, San Antonio Young Lawyers Association, and the Texas Young Lawyers Association.

  • Daniel M. Pacheco Attorney

    Daniel M. Pacheco graduated from Rice University in 1991, and the University of Houston Law Center in 1994. Dan has extensive experience in a broad range of civil litigation, including handling all phases of litigation regarding products liability, premises liability, personal injury, and commercial disputes.

  • Brennen S. Jenkins Attorney

    Brennen S. Jenkins joined Crosley Law in 2019. Mr. Jenkins has practiced as a plaintiff’s attorney since 2014, and has experience with insurance litigation, intellectual property, and estate planning.

    Mr. Jenkins studied molecular biology and chemistry at Texas Lutheran University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 2010. He worked in the medical field for three years before entering law school. In 2014, Mr. Jenkins graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law.

  • Denise Strauss Chief Operating Officer*

    As the Firm’s Operations Manager, Ms. Strauss oversees the daily operation of the firm including managing the administrative, finance, information technology and human resource functions. She brings more than 17 years of experience managing the day-to-day operations for entrepreneurial-based businesses.

    Ms. Strauss can see the big picture, and at the same time, take care of the details. With a tenacious focus on organization, coordination, and creative problem solving she helps contribute to organizational success and prides herself on relentless dedication to taking care of our clients.


  • Priscilla Pike Pre-Litigation Paralegal

    Priscilla Pike is Crosley Law Firm’s pre-litigation paralegal, and she also handles the firm’s file management software, which helps facilitate tracking, monitoring, and achieving the desired outcomes for every case and doing so in a timely manner.

  • Sharon Edwards
    Sharon Edwards Pre-Litigation Paralegal

    Sharon Edwards is a pre-litigation paralegal. She’s been a certified paralegal in Texas since 2005 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Midland University in Nebraska, in 2010. Sharon has previous experience in the personal injury field as an Intake Specialist and Worker’s Compensation Paralegal.

    Prior to joining Crosley Law Firm, she started her own podcast dealing with justice issues in Texas. Sharon enjoys meeting and interacting with clients and keeps the front office running smoothly and with a smile.

  • Laura Juarez
    Laura Juarez Legal Assistant

    Laura is a San Antonio native. She is bilingual and has over 30 years of experience working for personal injury attorneys. Laura started working in the legal field in her senior year of high school as a file clerk and legal secretary. Today, she is a legal assistant on the Litigation team at Crosley Law Firm handling the attorneys’ calendars which includes scheduling depositions, mediations, and trials. Laura has been happily married for 29 years and is a proud mom of two sons.

  • Bernice Lopez
    Bernice Lopez Pre-Litigation Case Manager

    Bernice Lopez is a pre-litigation case manager at the Firm. She is bilingual and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Prior to working with bodily injury claims, Bernice helped individuals with their social security benefits. She enjoys helping others and producing the best possible results for clients.

  • Vivian Martinez
    Vivian Martinez Legal Assistant to Thomas A. Crosley

    Vivian Soucie Martinez has been happily assisting Tom Crosley since 2003. She most enjoys getting to know clients and their families personally and sharing in the moment when they come to pick up their settlement check!

    Vivian is bilingual in English and Spanish, and she drafts the final expense accounting for all client files. Once the attorney and client approve her final figures, she sees to it that payment to the client is issued as soon as possible along with payments for any medical bills, liens, or subrogation claims in order to close out the claim. This has earned her the title as “the closer” for seeing the case to closing.

    Vivian spends her time away from the office with her husband of 36 years, two children, and two grandchildren.
