Military Appreciation Month: May 2016

May is Military Appreciation Month, and Crosley Law Firm wants to acknowledge the selfless service of our military men and women, both stateside and abroad. San Antonio, or Military City USA, is home to one of the nationā€™s largest populations of active duty service members, many of whom work at Joint Base San Antonio. Joint Base San Antonio is a joint service and training powerhouse comprised of Lackland Air Force Base, Randolph Air Force Base, and Fort Sam Houston. At Lackland Air Force Base, ā€œThe Gateway to the Air Force,ā€ more than 132,000 trainees graduate from Basic Military Training each year. Many of these graduates go on to complete pilot instructor training at Randolph Air Force Base or serve at Fort Sam Houston, one of the Armyā€™s oldest installations and home to Brooke Army Medical Center, the Department of Defenseā€™s largest medical facility.

Here at Crosley Law Firm, we have a close relationship with our service members, but we recognize that their contributions extend far beyond the city of San Antonio. The United States boasts over 1,300,000 active duty military personnel and over 800,000 reservists. These service members are not only assets to our national security, but to our communities. In states across the country, Navy, Marine, Air Force, and Army personnel can be seen running the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure each Spring and setting up Toys for Tots donation stations each holiday season. Their service at home is only outmatched by their service abroad: more than 150,000 military personnel are currently stationed overseas. Many of these men and women serve in conflict zones and put themselves in dangerā€™s way each day. The hardships they and their families face too often go unnoticed.

We at Crosley Law Firm wish to express a heartfelt thank you to all of our active duty, reserve, and veteran military members for their sacrifice, service, and dedication.
